What's new in neomutt?
mutt has been about since 1996 - and neomutt since 2016.
neomutt started as yet another patch set (just like mutt-ng),
but the many changes already made make it a fork by now.
the main change is that there is finally progress in some directions.
however, neomutt will incorporate all changes to mutt as well.

code: neomutt has refactored a lot and beautified the code.
fork: there are relatively few people reading mail in a terminal.
the split does not help either that much.

Subject: Vim Modeline
Wenn man eine Datei editiert und die Option "modeline" gesetzt ist,
dann werden N Zeilen ($modelines) am Anfang und Ende der Datei nach
"modelines" überprüft und die darin befindlichen Kommandos ausgeführt.
siehe ":help auto-setting".
hier ist meine modeline für diese Datei:
