Wer trägt heute noch Hardware durch die Gegend?  Und wozu?
Ist das Internet nicht ueberall um uns herum?
SOllte es nicht einfach so sein, dass man sich von einem
beliebigen Rechenr aus einloggt und von dort aus arbeitet?

"Schon - aber was ist mit meiner graphischen Oberfläche?
 Kann ich die dann überhaupt noch verwenden?"

Nun - wer braucht sowas schon?  Wann war das letzte mal, dass
Du die Knöpfe, Scrollbars und Menüs wirklich gebraucht hast?

Ich möchte mal zeigen wieviel ohne GUI möglich ist.

Die Idee:
Benutze *irgendeinen* Computer, öffne
ein Terminal, logge Dich per ssh ein.
Zum Editieren von Texten, Emails versenden,
News lesen und im Web surfen reicht das.

Using Computer *without* GUI
or Carrying Hardware is uncool

Are you still carrying a laptop around?  Why?
Isn't the Internet everywhere by now?
Shouldn't you be able to use any local computer
to log in to your account at home
and simply work use it remotely?

"Sure", I hear you say, "but what about my
graphical user interface?  Can I use that?"

Well - do you really need a GUI?  When was
the last time you had a need for the scrollbar,
the buttons, and all those menus?

Let me show you how much is possible without all this.

The Idea:
Use *any* computer, open a terminal, connect via ssh -
and do editing, email, newsreading, and web surfing.
